About Me

Hello! I am a 22-year old Broadcast Journalist Graduate seeking a role as a production Runner / Researcher / Trainee Assistant producer.

I am currently working part-time as a Wedding Supervisor whilst also seeking opportunities as a freelance journalist to increase my portfolio. My current freelance work includes curating and writing monthly articles for Grapevine Magazine. This includes sourcing the story, talking to interviewees and covering local events. I have also been involved in filming, editing and doing a voice-over for a staff training video for Severn Trent Water.

I studied Broadcast Journalism at De Montfort University between the years 2018 – 2021 and received a Second Upper Class Honours Degree.

I have a wide range of skills in Radio, Television and Multi-platform news-writing. Whilst at University, I had my own weekly Radio show on Demon FM called Catalyst which I co-hosted. This allowed me to use the Radio soundboard and familiarise myself with Zetta. The course allowed me to gain hands on experience within both TV and Radio Production, enhancing me with valuable knowledge of the pre-production, production and post-production process of both.

Let’s build something together.
